Maintenance - 12 Months
Digicarta Personal is guaranteed for the first 12 months from purchase (see "Software Evolution" above).
Any bug you should detect within such period, will either be fixed through a patch, or solved in an update or upgrade release that you will be eligible to download, for free.
What happens after the first 12-month period?
Should you find a bug after the guaranteed 12-month period, we cannot
promise that it will be managed with a high priority. Very likely, it will not be managed at all, since we assume it has been already fixed in a newer release.
We therefore suggest you to:
- buy an upgrade to get the latest version
- or subscribe the annual SMA program, if available
How to Order
It is currently possible to order offline only.
Online ordering is not available yet. We are putting in place a shopping cart. The service should start in the first half of July 2007.
Meanwhile, we therefore kindly ask you to submit your P.O. (purchase orders) via:

Please clearly indicate in your P.O.:
- Product, configuration (if applicable), etc.
- No. of licenses

- Company VAT code
- Contact person: name, e-mail, and - possibly - telephone number
- any additional note that can be helpful to process your P.O. accurately
As soon as we receive the order, we will promptly reply to you with an Order Confirmation message, containing all the fulfilment and payment details. See below "How to Pay" section.
Depending on the time zone difference, it might take up to 4-8 working hours to fulfill the order (that is, to unlock the software license).

How to Pay
In case of offline orders (that is, at the moment, all of them), payments are through wire transfer.
(No cheques, please).
Here's the procedure:
1. submission of your P.O.
2. after submitting your order, you will receive - via email or fax - an Order Confirmation message containing all the information for the fulfilment and for the payment through wire transfer: bank, account number, etc.
3. Upon the very first order, please send us the swift code of the transaction, or any other more convenient evidence of payment.
4. You will receive the unlock code of the software, and a preliminary proforma invoice.
5. Invoice in original will follow - via mail - at the beginning of the next month.
